My computer is a spaz!

:cursing: I did all the things you're supposed to do to make the computer faster, and now it's SO slow it's ridiculous. Here I thought I was doing a good thing by organizing. Who knew? I KNEW I should have left my scrap stuff like it was LOL

Totally understand what you mean

:-( I'm sorry, Jamie. Is that because you now have duplicates of files so you had them in each appropriate folder? (If that makes sense.)

Maybe try defragging the hard drive after moving all those files?

This program
seems to work much better than the windows one

Did you open your computer and blow out all the dust? Mine is in desperate need right now, and is running SUPER slow. DH needs to pick me up a can of compressed air tonight (I've been asking him for a week).

That happened to me a while ago when I organised and tagged everything using the program that came with DIP. It slowed my computer down so much and I had reinstall my program without the tags. :( Of course having my HD overflowing with kits and layouts didn't help either!!

My hard drive is 250 GB, about 125 is used (most scrap stuff LMAO!)

I didn't duplicate any folders, I just dropped them into the designer folders they should go in, I did buy a bit of stuff yesterday, but nothing much.

Sometimes computers drive me crazy! LOL

That's so strange Jamie. Did you try a defrag?
