I scrap friends who were important in their life. A once done playdate, not so much, but friends who were/are important, I do for the memory, both mine and theirs.

When we go on vacations, my daughter tends to make friends with almost anyone. I have a picture of her playing cards in the hall in a hotel in California. A photo of her with my internet friend's kids on a trip to Missouri. My cousin's daughter who she's only seen twice in eleven years. When she's with those kids, they're best friends. So yeah, I scrap it. Some day I want her to be able to look back and remember those fleeting friends. If it was an even longer relationship, I'd definitely scrap it.

I do scrap my son's "friends"...he played soccer a few years ago and he was best buds with one of the boys when they were on the field...I had to scrap them because they were too cute...I try to scrap all of this classmates each year even though I know he won't remember some of them as he gets older...Heck he is only in the 2nd grade and can't remember the name of some of his preschool classmates from a few years ago but I scrap them anyway...

I definitely do... they will appreciate it later. If you are afraid it will make them sad now, just do not share them til they are a little older. You could even do a "friends" album.

yepo :) Ijust did a bunch of LO's for my daugher in a graduation album and I scanned pictures from when she was in Sicily and made lots of friends {2000-2003}...it inspired her to go try to find some of those friends on FB and reconnect :) So far she has LOVED looking through the album and talking about it :)

Yup! I scrap it all! I think it would be a nice thing for when they are older!

I sure do. Being in the military making new friends is a constant in my kiddos life, but I also want them to remember old friends and have fond memories of those times. Plus they are little and forget until the "see" them and the friend and then they remember (and are usually happy about it).
