how many papers do you use on a page?


i've recently started experimenting more with different shapes and cuts of papers on layouts, and it really allows me to use more of the yummy papers i love.

It really varies for me. I tend to gravitate toward elements, so I'm less likely to use too many papers (other than the background, of course). I'd say it's either 1 or 7, but not much in between :)

I like LOTS of papers so usually I will use 5-8 on each page....but sometimes I like simple and only use 2-3 :)

Papers get me every time. They are what make me buy a kit more often than anything, so I like to use those papers! As for the # I use...usually at least 3+.

Love papers and so run out of ways to use them without using a template. I push myself to use every single paper in a kit, seriously.

as many papers as Cindy's templates require :) Before Cindy came into my life I often only used 1 paper. Crazy me.. I was missing out on using all those yummy papers the designers come up with!

This is me too. The more I use them, the more I love them. It's getting to be an obsession now....;)

I try to use all the patterned papers... minimum of 3 usually... depends on the kit.

That's me, too. On the rare occasion that I scrap a page from scratch, I probably use 3. I'd like to use more, but without a template I'm terrible at layering.

I love papers! I prolly use at least 3 or 4 always, and plenty of times, more!

Oh gosh it all depends on what style I guess. Sometimes I use all of the papers in a kit, and other times I only use a couple. I love papers though, so I try to use at least my faves in a kit by layering and such.

I'm in the Cindy camp. I love pp. Sometimes I know that a neutral bg would LOOK better, but I just can't bring myself NOT to use a beautifully patterned paper.

Totally depends on the LO. I have paper-less ones with a photo as background, or I use a bunch of them when doing a fashion LO. Totally unpredictable and I don't really have a system in it.

If using a Cindy's temp, I pull in 9-13 papers... not using a template... 3-5. ;)

I usually use most of the papers in the kit.

I tend to go to the extreme in either direction. I either use like 1 paper or like 6 or 7!! :D For example I scrapped a page on Wednesday with only the back ground paper and then on Thursday I scrapped a page with 10 papers!! :D Guess it just depends on my mood!!

I love papers so I always try to get as many as possible! Most my layouts have at least 5 papers. :)

It can really vary a lot for me, between 1 and 30 LOL. I'm very much a "go with the flow" scrapper, so whatever feels right in the moment.

I adore papers! I could live without the elements if I had to; it's all about the papers :D. I try to fit as many papers as possible onto a page (and Cindy's templates help with that a lot, lol!). On my most recent page, I used 14 papers :p

I don't use a lot of papers. I don't like very busy layouts so I use papers double often.

Normally 5+. I used 15 on my latest 2-pager.

I love Lynnette's style and she makes the most creative use of paper. Her style has definitely influenced how I scrap in the last year or so.

I've also been influenced by Candace Greenway's style, and she's a traditional paper scrapper, so I can't imagine how long these pages took to make.

And of course, there is the amazing Cindy Scheider!

I love how all 3 of these scrappers keep the focus on the photos and the journaling, but in a way that also has a lot of little things of interest to discover.

Generally 4-5 per layout. I'm a big bg layer-er and like to layer papers behind my pics too so I've got quite a few opportunities usually.

THIS! When I paper scrapped I couldn't afford a lot of elements and things and I just have always been a paper junkie!!:thumbup:

Well...I'm a total patterned paper junkie, so if I *could*, I'd use 'em all! :p (Yet another reason I :wub: Cindy's templates). On average, I guess I use at least four. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but four is probably the average.

Totally this. And I must say, I am feeling pretty cool right now because I do the same as Rebecca. That was a boost of confidence for me! WOOT! :thumbup:
