my first fondant covered cake :)
Ava's birthday is tomorrow, and we are having a Mario themed party :) This is my first fondant covered cake, and I am so proud of it!

Super cute. My sis in law does fondant cakes and loves doing them. I just dont have the patience for it. Props to you for an amazing first cake!

Thanks guys! I have used fondant before, but this was the first time I had tried to cover a cake. It is hard because you get little folds around the edges, and then trying to make the all the little bumps and air pockets disappear.
The little detail work isn' that hard. It is basically like playing with playdoh! |
Looks great! I love working with fondant but haven't covered and entire cake yet.
