Two and A Half Men
 

I love this show but, I have to admit that I am not impressed so far with it this season. I loved Charlie Sheen's character and I just am not "feeling" Ashton Kutscher and his character yet.

What do you think of the "new" show so far?

I think they didn't give their audience enough credit.

I can't get past the whole 'a billionaire accidentally stumbles upon the house and agrees to let all these people he doesn't know live there with him all the time' thing. Aside from that, I don't like how lame/stupid/childish Ashton's character (see, I don't even remember his name!) is and yet he manages to bed every woman who walks across his path. Why do these women find his sad sack blithering attractive? I sure don't.

I think the show could have lasted a few more seasons if they had completely rewritten it. I've never understood how Alan can be a chiropractor and not be able to afford his own place. Why not have him sell the house and use the proceeds to rent an apartment for him and Jake? Why not have Alan become the main character and introduce some other secondary characters while he adjusts to finally living on his own?

This show will be done this season.

I agree with everything you said LeeAndra. I think they should have just had Alan take over the house and write in some new characters. It will be interesting to see how this season ends. I agree that this could be the end of Two And A Half Men.

I can't stand Ashton Kutcher - so I'm just not watching it.

Awww. :( I rarely watch the show, but for Jon Cryer's sake I was hoping it would be a huge hit this fall.

I am annoyed with how childish Walden is and also how dumb they make Jake!

I agree with LeeAndra on the fact that they should have had Alan take over the house (maybe with him winning the lottery!) and then add in characters.

Oh well....

Totally agree too. They really hyped this new season up this summer but I'm finding it a real let down. I just can't understand the Walden character... or even relate and like him! I find him too whiny especially about his wife leaving him and how he wants her back but then in the next minute he has two girls in his bed??? Really!!! I think this show may be over this season too if they don't put some reality back in it! I think it would have been better for Jon's character to become the main one with new supporting cast added... that may have been more realistic!
