Robin - mine was just on the screen saver. You can do the above to find special offers, but I never turn mine off (the wireless is always off), but I just leave mine on all the time, so the screen savers are where you'll find them.

Yup, and it's good until next month! I grabbed it yesterday! A couple weeks ago they had 50% off Kindle covers, so I got a nice lighted cover. The special offers can be amazing!

the only special offers I ever see are for local things...and they aren't even for my location! I just got my Kindle 2 days ago, so I don't know how to do much, but I need to figure out how to tell it I don't live in Minneapolis.

I will try and find it . . lol . . I've been a bit upset with my kindle since I realised it wasnt a touch, which is what I ordered. Apparently only America is allowed to have a touch!!! :p

Oooh I wish I'd known about this yesterday as I just placed an Amazon Christmas order! Shoot!
