I don't listen to Christmas music, but if you are singing Christmas Caroles, I like Silent Night, Joy to the World and I'm drawing a blank on the other song, will come back and post when I remember.

I love Christmas music! So hard to choose!

My very favorite Christmas song is Mary, Did You Know?

Some other faves:

Baby, it's cold outside
Please Come Home For Christmas

My most-hated least-favorite makes-my-ears-bleed song this time of year is The Christmas Song. UGH. I hate freakin' chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Seriously.... my hatred of this song is completely unnatural because it's so over-the-top. LOL

emmasmommy 12-09-2011 02:28 PM

O Holy Night
or
Carol of the Bells

LeeAndra 12-09-2011 02:28 PM

My favorite song is 'Family Tree' by Dave Barnes closely followed by 'All I Want for Christmas Is You,' 'Baby, It's Cold Outside,' and 'Do You Hear What I Hear?'

My favorite carol is 'O Holy Night.'

Nettio 12-09-2011 02:40 PM

I love Grandma Got Runover By a Reindeer. My dad would sing and play it on his guitar when we were younger.

Other faves:
All I Want For Christmas by Mariah Carey
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Baby It's Cold Outside - the Zoe Deschanel version from the Elf soundtrack

I don't like it either :D

Another that I really love is Whitney Houston's version of Do You Hear What I Hear

And Sharon, I've never heard of that. Ever. You'll have to link it up.

Michael Buble' has that song on his new album. He sings it like a ballad instead of the hiphop way that Mariah Carey sings it. Here it is on YouTube.

Hee - that's one of my favorites to play on the piano. :)

I too LOVE Mary, Did You Know? (and I bet you like the Clay Aiken version too?! ;) ) The line "when you kissed your little baby, you kissed the face of God" Wow - makes me cry about every time.

lauren grier 12-09-2011 03:00 PM

favorite: any instrumental only carol of the bells
least: everything else. :p

KyRainbow 12-09-2011 05:45 PM

Top 5 favorites:
Oh Holy Night (Josh Grobin or Martina McBride)
Little Drummer Boy (doesn't matter who sings it)
Do You Hear What I Hear (Bing Crosby is my fave version, but anyone is fine)
Carol of the Bells (Trans Siberian Orchestra version is my ultimate fave of this one)
Mary Did You Know (Michael English or Kathy Mattea versions)
Oh....as a bonus, we also totally love the 12 Redneck Days of Christmas by Jeff Foxworthy, lol

Christmas song I do NOT like-Blue Christmas. I don't know why, it just annoys me, lol

YepBrook 12-09-2011 06:10 PM

Just a few of my favs:

1. The Christmas Song (specifically Amy Grant's Version) :o sorry Libby...
2. Carol of the Bells (from the Home Alone soundtrack and by the Celtic Women)
3. "Linus and Lucy" song by the Vince Guaraldi Trio (and all of his music in A Charlie Brown Christmas)
4. "Mary Did You Know" by Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd
5. "Silent Night" by Sarah McLachlan

Least favorites:
The song about the christmas shoes... not sure why but it bugs me I think it's overplayed on the radio.
"Wonderful Christmas Time" by Paul McCartney. Can't believe this is a Billboard top Christmas song.
"Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" by John Lennon & Yoko Ono. Yoko just can. not. sing.

carriesmom 12-09-2011 09:29 PM

Favorite: White Christmas sung by Bing Crosby, preferably the version from Holiday Inn but I settle for the White Christmas/album version. The distance second is Michael Buble's version. I also love Carol of the Bells, but the version sung by Boy's Choir that was on a West Wing episode.

Least: Any version or variation of Last Christmas. Makes me silently scream or sometimes out loud too.

TanyaH666 12-10-2011 01:05 AM

Favorites:
Dominick The Donkey (sorry Stacy! =))
¿Dónde Está Santa Claus?
White Christmas
All Alone On Christmas

liriel 12-10-2011 10:29 AM

My favorite is A Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives! It always gets me in a happy Christmas mood.
