This is going to be a rough weekend for me. My parents are leaving for Florida for three months and I'm so sad about it. So I plan to just sit at home and be grouchy.

maryinaz 01-06-2012 09:26 AM

Tonight we are headed to a sports bar to watch my alma mater in the COTTON BOWL - GO WILDCATS!! :)

Nothing much planned for tomorrow so we'll do stuff around the house. Church on Sunday, then probably watching football and again doing stuff around the house. We are boring.

that's about it...exciting life I lead, right? LOL

mariewilcox 01-06-2012 09:33 AM

Yay for Friday!

Not too much going on this weekend - after I pick Cheyanne up from basketball practice after school today we head into town to do our groceries/errands tonight and then we'll just hang out and watch the tube.

Tomorrow she's going to her brother's first thing in the a.m. (8:00) and is getting a tour of the firehouse he works at and then spending the day with him, his wife, and her niece while I work and maybe scrap a bit ;) She has a basketball game at home at 5:00 so I'll meet them there then we're having dinner out after the game.

Sunday she has a basketball game 2 hours out of town so we'll be gone most of the day for that. It's down in Bar Harbor and it's supposed to be nice out so we'll enjoy the town while there aren't any tourists :D. Then after we get home it's homework for her and prep for the next school week.

taracotta7 01-06-2012 09:35 AM

I am so excited to tell you!!!!!!!!!!!! I got NOTHING on the schedule. NOTHING!!!!!!! That is like music to my ears. SO, I hope that means a lot of sleeping in, snuggles, scrapbook time and maybe dinner out as a family. :)

Gemma 01-06-2012 09:36 AM

Pretty lazy, for me at least!!

Tomorrow I'm going to the gym and going for a power plate session then back home. Harry is going to his nanas for the day/night and OH and Jack are going to a football (soccer) match so I'll be home alone for around 3 hours woo!!

Sunday - gym again then helping the kids with homework and doing some laundry and general housework! :) Sunday's are always quiet here.

KyRainbow 01-06-2012 09:38 AM

Well, lol...since I'd planned on being in the hospital this weekend, I have nothing planned. I'm going to scrap and rest and catch up on some laundry.

Sasha 01-06-2012 09:40 AM

Going to Chuck E Cheeeeeeese tonight! for my niece's 2nd birthday...im super excited! lol
Saturday we have my hubby's cousin and gf baby shower...yay, means its only getting closer to hold my lil baby nephew!! <3
Sunday be home and do nothing!

MandaT 01-06-2012 10:22 AM

Taking the kids to a birthday party tomorrow evening. That is the ONLY thing on our calendar.

So, I'm hoping to get the rest of my organizing/purging of the house done, scrubbing floors/cleaning carpets, scrapping, maybe some sewing & editing the session I did on NYE.

dotcomkari 01-06-2012 10:24 AM

my husband got hurt at work and basically can not move his neck :( so he is taking it easy this weekend. I got to do some house cleaning, catch up on landry and also work tonight and sunday.

Also my sister in law just moved back home from teaching in korea for the past 10 years.. so we are having a family get together sometime today... and I got to take her shopping for things she needs.. so forth

tanyiadeskins 01-06-2012 10:26 AM

lazy here as far as doing anything fun or going anywhere ... but we are seriously cleaning the house and dropping off the laundry to be done. oh joy ... I am sure I will fit some scrapping time in as well.

ColleenSwerb 01-06-2012 10:57 AM

I have a To Do List a mile long so that SHOULD be my main focus.
However, we are FINALLY starting the work on the nursery this weekend! Some friends of ours are free and while Jordan was planning a lazy weekend to ourselves after the craziness that was the end of December, he's wise enough to take them up on their offer to help get the room going.
So today will be spent prepping the house for guests + organizing the intense amount of cr@p that is currently in the house thanks to my SIL, lol. I need to clear out the dining room so they can move the nursery furniture in there to start tearing things apart in the nursery. but once that's done, I plan on relaxing and catching up with my girlfriend while the boys get to work :p

mummytothree 01-06-2012 10:58 AM

Maybe a little cleaning.....other then that just lots of hanging out and playing with the kidlets!!!

SweetMelissa 01-06-2012 10:59 AM

We were going to go to the zoo but Rachel woke up sick this morning so instead we're going to stay home & organize a few closets. Okay I'm going to organize the closets. lol. Dh is not happy about missing out the zoo now.

NatalieKW 01-06-2012 10:59 AM

The hubby's taking me on a date, and I could not be more excited. As for the rest of the weekend...I haven't even thought about it.

Lyd 01-06-2012 11:00 AM

This week has seemed so looooong for some reason. I thought it would go faster since it was only a 4-day week for DH at work and the kids at school. But, it has just been dragging to me. Not necessarily a bad thing . . . just feels weird.

Sean has a birthday party to go to tomorrow, but other than that we have no plans, which is just the way I like it for now. :)

*Celeste* 01-06-2012 11:01 AM

well today i'm working. :P tonight we will go out to dinner and then hit home depot for wood and supplies. dh is making bird houses with his scouts on monday. he needs to pre-cut everything. i think i'll take my camera with me and take a photo of my dinner. lol.
tomorrow dh & the older one are skiing. the little one has a birthday party. we'll run errands and do laundry.
on sunday, i'm taking the kids to mystic aquarium and dh will work on our master bedroom reno and cutting the wood for the bird houses.

color of my heart 01-06-2012 11:09 AM

i wish i was doing fun and exciting things. but instead, i will be unpacking.. my car's still full of stuff and i got back here on wednesday... in my defense, i drove for like, 9 hours on wednesday. and when i got home, i brought in my computers, my pillow, and my toothbrush. and went to bed. and then stayed in my room yesterday, all day, doing nothing

i also need to clean up a bit, cause i want to move the furniture in my room. but it's mostly unpacking. oh, and cooking. and food shopping. nothing thrilling.

MamaBee 01-06-2012 11:27 AM

you know, I don't know... I think we are going to see the Green Bay Gamblers (hockey) play tonight... and then this weekend - probably clean around the house. Our basement is a disaster!

Tracyfish 01-06-2012 11:45 AM

Unusually we don't have much planned. We may go to a friend's Christmas Tree Bonfire Saturday night, but other than that...nothing.

Jengerbread88 01-06-2012 01:13 PM

This weekend, we're not doing a whole lot- just getting ready for the week ahead, doing some laundry and packing... Next weekend we're going to Chicago for business, so we have to get ready! :)

where at? when? in chicago i mean LOL

jacinda 01-06-2012 03:07 PM

It's Saturday morning now, and in a few hours we're heading off camping by the beach for the week. Don't freak out - it's summer here :D The weather is set for rain all week though, which is a bummer, but we're going anyway since it's all booked and paid for in advance. After a few days, the next door neighbour kids are coming to stay with us (aged 6 and 9), so our girls will have someone new to play with. It's going to be a full tent. I was hoping to take the laptop and catch up on my journalling and family history stuff, but the laptop died last week and we can't find the recovery discs. I am NOT used to being totally 'unplugged' for a whole week! Oh well, more reading time I guess.

Don't have too much fun without me!

I don't have details on where yet, but we are driving up next Friday (should be there evening) and I *think* we come back Sunday.

ryliesmom 01-06-2012 08:39 PM

Not too much here. DD has the stomach virus so she'll be staying in. DH has a sinus infection and doesn't feel like doing much either. Plus he has to work some over the weekend since he stayed home with DD today. DS has a birthday party tomorrow and we have church on Sunday for whoever is well.

mrshobbes 01-06-2012 09:01 PM

Pretty eventful!
Friday - our anniversary! We went out to lunch and then ran errands, then capped the day with drinks and fun conversation at a friend's bday party
Saturday - going to a baptism of another friend's (and Mark's client) sweet lil boy
Sunday - Part 2 of Anniversary Fun, where Mark takes me shopping (hopefully!) ;)

LeeAndra 01-06-2012 09:49 PM

T. has his first Upwards bball game tomorrow morning, but I'm fairly sure Lia and I won't be going this time. I need to make a cake for Bible study, and we have that from 4-6 tomorrow night. We always go to my ILs' on Sunday, and now that we finally have a washer & dryer at our house again, I won't have to waste all afternoon doing umpteen loads of laundry.

I also need to harangue J. into finding the last ornament box so I can put the last of the ornaments away and get him to put the tree up and away. I'm hoping I can finish up my Christmas binders and mail them out to my cousin, sister, and mom as belated Christmas presents.

I really hope that we receive our Comcast starter kit tomorrow in the mail so that I can get our broadband Internet hooked up! The Internet we have now is sooooo sucktacular that I'm practically giddy thinking up ways to waste time on the Internet next week and not having it go out, crash, etc. on me.

'Tis all, LW. Feel free to drop by tomorrow night to hang out. :p

rach3975 01-06-2012 10:23 PM

Not that much going on here, but that's the way we like it.

Tomorrow morning DH and one of the kids are going bowling as a reward for DS, and I'll be getting things done around the house and playing with the other 2. Tomorrow afternoon I'll probably take our oldest to the mall for new shoes, then we'll all go out to dinner.

Sunday DH has the day off parenting, so I don't know what the kids and I will do. Play, get some chores done, and maybe order pizza and have a movie night. Either that or I'll rent them a movie and have some scrapping time while they watch. I'm tempted by the second...
