For all the designers who make alphas...

I know that English does not use accented letters with either acute / grave:
´ `
or caron / circumflex:
ˇ ˆ
or umlaut:
¨
or tilde (especially for Spanish ñ)
~

but many European languages do... so I'd like to ask you all for a favour in the name of all the European girls here - to include those few little piece stuff in the alphas - could it be possible? We can make all the letters we need afterwards by flipping them or rotating them. Thank you!

p.s.
Also exclamation mark, question mark, dot, comma... some alphas include them, some of them not... sometimes I really miss them! Please please :o

The main problem that most of us face with that is that the fonts that we use for alphas often don't come with those extra bits. I do try to include the regular punctuation when it's available in the font I'm working with, but sometimes it just isn't possible. I'll definitely keep in mind about the accents though, and if I'm working on an alpha where that's an option, I'd be glad to throw them in. :)

Is there a sort of standard set of punctuation that alphas could come in?

I'm always intimidated and worried I'll mess that sort of thing up, but this is helpful. :) I've bookmarked it for next time.

I do my best to include common punctuation (exclamation mark, question mark, semi-colon, apostrophe, etc.) I (almost) always include the euro sign if the font I am using has it.

I hadn't thought of just the accents. I was thinking more along the lines of the the entire letter with accent -- which would end up adding a lot of additional letters. There are so many and I do get confused.

From now on (if the font I am using has them) I will make the European accents. You may end up getting a PM from me the first time I do it to make sure I am not messing it up.

Feel free to PM me anytime. Thank you so much!

Yes, I know there is A LOT of letters with special characters and I would not bother anyone of you to make it, LOL! That's why I came up with the idea to add just those accents, so we can easily create those letters we need.

Now I remembered there is also tilde for our Spanish-speaking friends
~

so I am going to add it into the first list, too :)

I appreciate all your effort, girlies!

I love when they have punctuation.
