Man - my kid cusses like a sailor!

Tonight, while talking spiders with Tara, the boys are being sent to their room to start a movie while Mom and Dad have date night. They are arguing over about which one to see, and Aiden, in his strident assertations of disgust, come out sounding like the biggest worst sweary words ever, without saying anything more than, No Connor, you got to pick it last time. And he doesn't even know any swear words.

If attitude means anything, this kid needs some serious intervention!:w00t:

haha...my kid always says, "Mom, when I get bigger can I use bad words?". lol

taracotta7 03-10-2012 10:24 PM

There you go with the spider talk again. *shudder*

We are all over the 'tude here too. It is funny to hear some of the words he makes up to make it "bad enough" like a curse word. LOL

Now go pay attention to your hubby before he starts cussing like a sailor! LOL

MommaTrish 03-10-2012 11:31 PM

lol.
That always makes me think of Ramona yelling guts because she thinks it's a bad word.

That's too funny! Reminds me of a night with my kid a few months ago:

One night my son was mad at me for a priveledge he lost. I can't even remember what it was. After his martial arts class while we were in the car driving home (in the dark for a 25 minute drive) he sat in the backseat in his car seat (he's 5) and just chewed me out. Up one side and down the other. :cursing:Completely nonsensical, he just needed to yell. He had no idea what to actually say...but he knew how to argue. After a few minutes. I heard a big sigh and then silence. He was all worn out! It was all I could do to not laugh hysterically! :D

The thing is, Aiden didn't say anything else than that sentence. It was just the WAY he said it that Russ and I sat and giggled and translated into what an adult would be saying that way and giggle so hysterically for a little while. The boy has some BIG attitude for such a wee thing LOL

LJSDesigns 03-11-2012 01:50 PM

My "wee" one is 20 and I am always after him about his language and he tells me he is old enough to say a$$ and Sh*t if he wants. I tell him as long as I am the mom I get to decide when he is old enough and he hasn't reached that age yet.

LOL. My 8 year old is all over that attitude, too. He doesn't know, or at least knows not to use, any real swears, but he can make just about anything sound awful.

LOL Funny how far attitude will go!

I remember my cousin and brothers yelling at one another calling each other 'nouns' and 'verbs'. I told them they should call each other adjectives and they got mad at me. LOL

My 2 year old has heaps of attitude at the moment here's just a few of the things : she is bashing the keyboard to the mac: me - "Hollie stop bashing the keyboard your going to break it" Hollie- " erm mommy leave me alone iv got work to do"
Another Hollie was telling me something and daddy butted in and asked what she was talking about. Hollies reply "daddy I'm talking to mommy not you" that's just from today and she said these with teenage attitude , she is only 2!

carrie1977 03-11-2012 04:39 PM

My four year old says "bam it" when he's playing Mario Cart and he falls off of a cliff or loses the race. I have to turn my head to laugh and then scold him. LOL!
