USA Gymnastics!

I watched the whole team finals - and I honestly shed a few tears when the women were finished on the floor routine. It was like they were MY kids - seeing how happy they were, how hard they worked, and that they came through with the GOLD... I was proud, lol!

Could've just been pms emotions too though. lol. But those girls are amazing!

Sara and I are crying like big babies too so don't worry hahaha

I thought Jordyn was such a class act tonight too. Her emotions had to be all over the place after the last couple of days she's had but wow they were amazing tonight!

kscwgirl 07-31-2012 10:46 PM

I cry at all of it Sarah, don't worry. LOL

Me too! I basically blubber through the whole games and I blubber for all of them, win, lose, American or not. By the end of the two weeks I am a big ol mess. :D

BrattyMeg 07-31-2012 10:54 PM

I totally cried when the Brits won a medal in men's gymnastics! What an amazing moment. I missed the ladies last night, but I'm sure I would have cried then, too!

I wanted Team GB to do well for obvious reasons but I was so happy for the US girls, they were amazing! :)

I have such a big heart for the gymnastics events. My dd was a gymnast for years and left team 2 years ago and I still haven't gotten over it, lol! I thought it was going to be a lifelong thing for her, but she was ready to leave it and I wasn't.

Gee, don't they know it's all about their parents? ;)

The girls did fantastic. I hold my breath so much during beam that my dh should be ready to perform CPR.

Sooo thrilled for the girls!! I cry through it all too. I was even crying for the little Russian girl who got the really low score. She was just so heartbroken and it was so tough to watch!!

ayaandjudah 08-01-2012 09:26 AM

I cried big time. This is a huge deal for USA gymnastics. The only other teams golds (women 1996, men 1984) were done on US soil, so this is a big deal.

I also blubbered at the father of the South African swimmer.

digideb 08-01-2012 12:06 PM

Totally cried too!!!
