a fun sunday
 

So yesterday it was raining - and by that I mean they had the fire engines out in the next village pumping water out of people's houses. It really is a bonkers summer here :crying:

We have my 2 eldest step grand daughters and our great niece and nephew staying with us for a week ages 18,17,16,13.

We were dreading it being wet and them being bored but their solution yesterday was to ask me to do a photoshoot.

I had a great time with them dressing up, trying different poses, different lighting. In fact - they posed for 4 solid hours and I got hundreds of photos - some of which I am really pleased with.

They now have their new photos pasted all over facebook and I have scrapping fodder for months to come :D

What a fun idea for a rainy day!!! It is raining here today and the kids are so disappointed since we had plans to meet friends at the nearby splash park. Maybe we'll do the same thing you did! :D

Great way to spend the day Rach. I thought we were bad with the weather here, but we haven't quite progressed to that stage yet.....although the thunder is quite loud here right now!

Good for you Rachel! I wish I had more photos to choose from when I try and scrap my kids! Only 1 out of 3 will pose for me!

ETA: That photo! Unbelievable! Hope everybody is ok. And here in the Midwest USA we are praying for rain!
