Disappointed...
 

Digital scrapbook Day was my introduction to the Sweet Shoppe and I was so excited I found you guys! I am a kit scrapper and i love templates so this was a perfect match for me! Money here is really tight but for DSD my DH said I should go ahead and get some new supplies. I spent hours going through the store selecting just a couple of things I really wanted. I chose a beautiful KCB kit, two amazing Cindy Schneider templates, and a kit I carefully chose to scrap about my recent miscarriage. Choosing the kit for my miscarriage was particularly tough because I cry everytime I think about losing my baby. Well yesterday I sat down to download the wonderful Christmas Collection I won from KCB and I went into my Sweet Shoppe folder and none of the new stuff was there. I went into my Sweet Shoppe account to look at my past download links and lo and behold it looks like I never purchased my DSD stuff! How did I manage that one!?! Now the sale is over and we don't have the money for me to buy my stuff! Ugh! So disappointing. Maybe after the holidays I can get the stuff a little at a time. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has done something like that.

On a positive note, there's a freebie by each designer in the shop and many of them have free downloads on their Facebook pages and for subscribing to their newsletters. So, you can get a good selection of mini kits that you can use for the portfolio and then you can make your own sale :) If you get 30 portfolio points, that'll be a 40% discount - and this is a great month for the portfolio because we have the entire year's worth of prompts to choose from!

That would make me want to throw up! I'm so sorry, and I've never done that before, but I have gone to scrap with a kit and realized that I never downloaded it.

SSD is an awesome place to make mistakes at, though; it's very forgiving.

Kristin is always on the nice list :) I wanted to say welcome to SSD and to tell you to check out the freebies as well as the Bargain Bites and to subscribe to ALL the designers on facebook if you are on there as well as check out their blogs. They often offer samples there as well. And I also wanted to say while I got what I wanted here at SSD I missed a sale on Black Friday for $1.00 designs at another site.

I have done that before. It is so frustrating. I just knew I had placed my order. I could even picture kits I had purchased in my head and was thinking about layouts I would make. Then I checked back and realized I hadn't actually purchased somehow. I wanted to cry. I've since purchased said kits, but at the time I wanted to kick myself. LOL
