The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown - I'm not a huge non-fiction reader. This one came up in my book club and I was completely drawn into it.

10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know by Kari Kampakis. Myself, another mom and one of my dd's youth leaders have actually formed a book group and we're reading through this with a handful of middle school & early high school girls. My Goodreads review.

So many!!!!
Stiff by Mary Roach ANY of Ron Chernow's books. Alexander Hamilton would be the most entertaining one (Lin Manuel Miranda read it and was inspired to write the play). Washington: A Life is also amazing. I actually have a whole list of Revolutionary War biographies I could suggest. Also any of Cokie Roberts books- Founding Mothers is so good. |
This is an awesome book about end of life hospice care. Great stories from first hand experience by Hadley Vlahos, RN
