For anyone who is familiar with Charleston, SC....what are some things to do there if you had a short visit? Top list of things to see/do?

Make sure to also check out Rainbow Row. We kept it pretty chill while there and just did beach stuff and looking around town. The first time I was there before I scrapped, I also checked out The Citadel which is a pretty cool place. It's a beautiful town.

Thanks Mari! I lived on SC down in the Parris Island area more than once over the years but never really did much more than pass through Charleston. We have a wedding to go to down there later this spring so we'll only be there for 3 maybe 4 days and I wanted some ideas on "not-to-miss" things :D

Mari made some awesome suggestions! The downtown area is beautiful and full of historical landmarks and sites. Be sure to visit Rainbow Row and The Battery! Some other popular attractions in the area are the City Market, Ft. Sumter, The Dock St. Theatre, The Hunley, and Charles Towne Landing. There are also lots of historic churches and plantations (Boone Hall is my favorite!).

Just out of curiosity, when will you be visiting? I also have a wedding to attend there in the spring. ;)

We just went there in August; we visited a few plantations. Loved seeing the moss hanging off the trees. One of the places I wish we had visited was Patriot Point which has a ship, helicopter.

Thanks for the suggestions Kendall! The wedding is on April 2nd at Magnolia Plantation. We'll only be there Friday afternoon through Sunday with a flight home early Monday :(
