Yep we adopted a guinea pig. Kennedy has been dying for a pet, and recently found a love for guinea pigs. Thankfully a friend of mine had her and was looking to rehome her since they didn't really have the time for her anymore. So we adopted her. Kennedy of course is in love with her. She still doesn't have a solid name but we've been calling her Sweetie the most, so that's what I'm going with for name lol.

So far, things have been going great. The smell is a little off putting but I've noticed it's not really her cage that smells, it's the hay she eats. I had a gp growing up so I knew what to expect.

So now I need a kit for her. Suggestions, ideas...maybe a designer that wants to make a kit for smaller animals, not the usual cats and dogs? :thumbup:

I don't know if there is anything specifically for guinea pigs but it's a cute kit!! I used it when we got scout

I know Heather used to have a kit with her Pet Shop series but I don't think I have it in my stash.

Someone needs to make me a new kit. :D

Cute! I had guinea pigs when I was a kid too - they are funny things.

What a cutie! Our pigs used to squeak when we'd open the veggie drawer in our refrigerator (because my hubby used to by huge bags of spinach just for them). :)

Aww--cute! DD was dying for a pet a few months ago and I tried to get DH on board with a hamster or guinea pig, but I didn't succeed. We ended up with fish, but it's just not the same.
