It was a wonderful show, too! I've been saying all season that I wanted to hear DC sing a Bryan Adams song. And George Michael, too? Awesome!

And the guitar hero commercials were hilarious! Boxers do look better than briefs though...despite Tom Cruise.

I was totally shocked by the results. I fully expected that the teen vote was going to put Archie on top.

For the celeb appearances - loved Mike Myers and his 'guru' meeting with the Davids. Donna Summer was off tonight - didn't care for her (and normally I'm a fan). And George Michael's performance was fantastic, especially considering he had a cold - I wouldn't have known if he hadn't said anything.

Well, color me surprised!! Even though I picked Archie to win, I of course WANTED David Cook to win and I'm so glad he did! I love that he got so emotional and can I just say that his coronation song sounded amazing? Seriously, I don't care that I picked wrong. Besides, Meg totally dessimated (sp?) us all anyways. :)

Ok....so I have been out getting my hair done, playing with the kids, putting them to bed,etc...I finally get to watch AI on the DVR and it cuts off before the winner is announced...WTF, stupid DVR. I know who won, now...shocked that it happened....happy....got to see Cook in his skivies....it is all good!!! I am with a few others that I guessed WRONG but I don't care!!!! I love me some Cook and am really happy!!!!!

What a great night :) I loved how David Cook teared up and how sweet he was to David A. I want to adopt them both... what great guys! I do really hope that winning doesn't ruin the style of David Cook... I'm concerned about that. I also hope that David A will continue on and grow as a singer and showman... he is so young that it will be very interesting to see him grow and mature. Even though I thought David A would win, I'm very happy that David Cook did!

I thought the show was fabulous. DC looked to me on Tuesday like he thought Archie would win, even on Wednesday that's how he looked too. I was so happy for him, he was so gracious in winning, and I loved his version of the song.
