I've only ever used Persnickety for 12x12 prints.

I use Persnickety for all my printing, including 12x12, and have great luck with them. Their quality is good and so is their customer service.

Persnickety Prints but I buy their print credits when they are on sale for $1.50. Credits never expire. They had a sale on those on Super Bowl Sunday. Next one will probably be in May.

I ordered 150 prints Sunday. Due to the abundance of orders, they didn't get processed until today so I should have them Monday or Tuesday. I normally don't order prints during the sale weekends and get them in less than a week (Utah to Ohio). One time is was 3 days.

At least 10 years ago, I tried a company, can't remember name, but their colors were off. Soon thereafter I tried Persnickety Prints, and I have never looked back. I usually buy print credits when there is a sale. Customer service is great, and they take great care when they package the prints. I missed their Super Bowl sale. I think the quality is great!

I, too, am a huge fan of Persnickety Prints. I buy their credit packs for 12x12 prints when they're on sale for $1.50 each. It's a fairly significant outlay of money when I purchase the credits - buying a 50-pack runs you $75.00 - but then when you are ready to print your pages, you can upload however many you want and you only pay for shipping.

Their sales coincide with (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day in May, Digital Scrapbooking Day in October, Super Bowl Sunday, and the winter holidays around November/December. Best way to keep track of it is to sign up for their emails.

I ordered some 8x8 layouts with the Superbowl Sale they had. This time a lot of my layouts got cut some, enough for me to actually notice it. I contacted them about it and they have been really good with customer service. They said they recommend leaving a .125 inch bleed so they can cut. I didn't notice any cutting on my last order I had with them. Has anyone else noticed this?

I love Persnickety prints myself! I wait too long to print though and then faint at the cost. I should print a little a long and a long...lol.

I just got an order in today... 150 prints! Cost $8.99 for shipping. Only because of the print credits I have stocked up on ;)

I have never had this issue with them... did they reprint them for you?

scrapchyck 02-24-2023 12:17 AM

I just took the plunge and ordered some 12 x 12 prints. I used to have a wide-format printer so used to print my own. I have only done one or two photo books and those you do have to leave some bleed room. I got free shipping tonight from Persnickety Prints...there was a code, ship59. I'll be on the lookout for those credit packages, sounds like a great deal! Now I need to buy some albums. I am pretty sure I have some prints in storage that are not in albums!

They gave me the option to reprint with trying their best to zoom out a little more or give me 25% off my next order. I decided to just take the 25% off next order because I have a feeling even with zooming out more I will still have some cutoff. I will just remember now that they said to leave a .125 inch room for bleed. I just always thought that for the square layouts, you didn't really have to worry about cutoff like other places.

I learned a long time ago before I ever started printing with Persnickety to never put anything important at the edge of any layout. So when I do put elements there they are something that if I lose a little in printing, it won't matter. By doing that I have never had an issue with layouts printed by Persnickety.

I received my 150 layouts earlier this week. All good!

I only use Persnickety Prints!
