I tend to get mine at Target, or Ross/Marshall's. I have a 3 y/o who likes to try them on so, they have to last! The only thing (aside from style) I pay attention to is the UVA/UVB.

I have done a couple sets of cricut mats. You can also wash it with dish soap and hot water, let it dry and it tends to resticky itself. I use baby wipes on mine too.

I have never had my inks run. I have a Kodak Ink Jet printer and use Printworks double sided matte photo paper for 99% of my projects.
