I do the same as Trina... only keep until I get them printed. Once I’ve looked them over (mainly looking for typos), I delete the layered files. I keep the jpeg only in case I ever want to print...

I print at persnickety prints online. The way the page looks when I upload is exactly the way it looks once printed. I only print loose pages for my albums so I can’t comment to printing in a book.

If you’re not enjoying it, I’d say take a break. You don’t have to decide now if that break is temporary or permanent. Maybe a year or two from now you will decide you miss it and come back to it....
