I can't count on one hand the number of books DH read until he got a Kindle and now he reads. It's wonderful! My kids started out loving books until they started school, my oldest came around and now reads for pleasure when she has time, unfortunately she doesn't have much of that. My youngest is hit or miss, she enjoys it once she gets going but it's not something she does on her own.
My parents, grandparents, we're all avid readers, we are always reading.
