#18: Take a Stand:
The journaling is pretty small but it basically says that
after a year and a half of dealing with lost paperwork and being pushed aside, my daughter was finally given the chance to test for giftedness. She passed and is now getting specialized classes she needs to continue to stimulate her emotional and intellectual development. I used this for the Take a Stand prompt b/c I'm very non-confrontational but I had to make a ton of calls, letters and even go pretty "high up the ladder" to get this ball rolling but I did and I'm proud of myself for that. And of my sweet, smart daughter!
