September 2025 - SWTSB 9/2 - Pop Rocks

Fraggle Rock was my inspiration, my BFF's son is definitely not an 80s baby but he is a fan...he loves to play. Just like in the intro tune!
 
Sometimes, you start a layout with an idea. But what you end up with is nothing like that! I liked the grid- so started with that. Thought about all the Christmas' with my son and my nephews and nieces when CareBears, and My Little Ponies, Sesame Street and Rainbow Bright were under the Christmas Tree- and this layout is what happened! Christmas Eve for my nephew's family!

I was inspired by Smurfs, my all time favorite cartoon since I was a kid in the 80s! (Smurfs were and still are super popular in Europe, but I'm not sure about the States...)
 
Yo Gabba Gabba was all the rage in my house when my girls were little, and my husband and I even enjoyed the show at times. The photos are of the younger daughter a Muno-themed "guitar" toy we had, and I tried to use the colors of the characters for my page, too.

 


My favourite was a cartoon called Jana of the Jungle and I used to love coming home from school to watch this on children's tv. I remember making so many of Jana's necklaces for myself so I could pretend to be Jana
