Sweet Shoppers, I can't believe it's October! Where the heck has 2025 gone?

Earlier this year, we revisited the text based version of our Scrapper's Portfolio challenges which were circa 2009-10. This month, we’re diving into the later version of that system: our Pinterest Portfolio challenges, which evolved as Pinterest grew in popularity.

To join in this month's challenges, head over to our October Portfolio Pinboard. You’ll find incredible inspiration from our team to help you build your portfolio this month. There are 20 inspiring challenges that are widely open to interpretation and creativity, so have fun exploring them!

Keep in mind, this board is public, so you DO NOT need to have a Pinterest account to play along.

As usual, you’ll use this thread to claim your tracker spot and keep track of your progress toward earning Sweet Rewards.

Each Pinterest pin includes visual inspiration and a numbered verbal prompt. Simply complete a layout for the pin and post it here in this thread to earn your rewards! While the challenge text will give you the basics, we encourage you to dive into the inspiration and really let it spark your creativity.

DEADLINE: Update your post in this thread no later than 11:59pm ET on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 to claim your Sweet Rewards and be entered to win this month's goodies!

To reiterate...

1) Post in this thread to claim your tracker spot for the month.
2) Visit our October Challenge Portfolio board at Pinterest to see this month's challenges.
3) Complete a layout for a challenge, upload it to the gallery, and return to your tracker post. Noting the challenge number and keeping them in order will help Vanessa when she sends out rewards and prizes.

Aah, it looks like the web browser version of Pinterest is cutting off the section titles. The app shows the entirety of the text.

For now, until Robin weighs in, you can see the prompts in the first section - “October’s Portfolio at a Glance from the Babes”. Each image includes a sample layout and the prompt is listed below the layout in the lower left corner.

The portfolio at-a-glance board shows a sample page from each of our Babes along with the challenge list.

I hesitate to just put the list out there because I think it defeats the purpose of exploring the pins and boards, and finding inspiration in them.
