Looking back on 20 years of challenges over the past year has been a blast, but I don’t know about you, I’m ready for something new!
Whenever we brainstorm a new challenge system, it’s always a balancing act. We want it to be fun and open-ended so you can scrap YOUR favorite memories, a bit of a challenge to keep things interesting, and easy enough for us to run every month. We think we’ve found the perfect mix of all three for this year’s challenges, and I’m sooo excited to finally be able to share everything with you. I hope you love it as much as we do!
Introducing Connect & Create, a challenge system where YOU are in charge! Remember those school worksheets where you’d connect answers from one side of the page to the other? That’s the inspiration for our new monthly challenges. Only this time, there are no right or wrong answers, just endless ways to get creative!
Here’s how it works. Simply make a match by drawing a line from one option in the left column to another in the right column, then create a page.
Other than the simple rule that each option can only be used once, you’re free to make the connections you want and scrap the pages that excite you most! Here are your options and tracker card for February...
Something to keep in mind, the words on the left are open to interpretation and can be literal or symbolic. For example...
Love can be people, hobbies, or something someone loves.
Bliss could be a pedicure, a place you love to be, or taking a nap.
Twenty could be an anniversary, a top 20 list, or twenty photos on the page.
Community could be about your scrapping friends, going to church, giving back to the community, etc.
Get creative and have fun with these! We are never looking to disqualify anyone from earning sweet rewards. We simply want to inspire you to get those pages scrapped.

As a reminder, you must use Sweet Shoppe products for the majority of each page. Templates or small touches from other designers are fine, but your page should obviously feature our products.
