yes Kellie, Meg is right....I took the base of the frame and spray painted it black and then I supreglued a bunch of of the flat lego bases on that board....the things on the top you can take off and then just build to your hearts desire...I just happened to come across a bunch of of his Construction legos that were already built so I just threw them on there to show him how it works.....
I'll have to take a picture of just the base and show you what I mean
I was going to use all black base pieces (for him to build on) but since I didn't have enough so I decided to just throw in other colors and it turned out pretty fun!
