We don't get to the movies as much as we used to (mainly due to having no babysitter) but I agree that it's getting so expensive. An evening movie is almost $10 per adult here. The prices for the food is high too. I usually bring in my own candy from CVS and we share a large drink.
Most of our movies are seen via Netflix now.
