I have a sister-in-law who has cut my hair for $5 a cut for the past 10 years (ever since we moved back to Maine). That said, I still only have it done a few times a year (when I can't stand it in my eyes anymore and I'm tired of hacking at my bangs myself

As you can see from my new avi it leaves a lot to be desired! But I mostly pull it back into a clip when I'm working and let it down when I'm out of the house. It's naturally wavy/curly, thick, but fine and it just kind of drives me nuts. I used to have short hair but never really liked it because the shorter the curlier it is. I never use a blow dryer on it either so it has to be able to just air dry with no styling involved.
