After the first book, I was like what's the deal...I went on and read the others and yes, they were okay, but I read somewhere someone comparing them to Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling and there is NO comparison. Rowling is in an entirely different league as far as writing, plot and character development. I mean...they're really okay but not the best thing I've ever read. I also found myself liking Jacob better than Edward which I don't know if that's what the author wanted or not..she kind of meanders some in her plots.
Please no one stone me or throw me out of the forum lol...

I sort of agree with you... not to mention I don't quite "get" the insane, abusive, controlling guys being the hottest thing ever.
I've read the books - the writing was amusing for a quick read, however if I had a teenage daughter, I'd pretty much be scared/worried if she found somebody as controlling/psychotic as Edward (LoL - and I say this as I was in a control-ish relationship for a few years in my youth)
(ducks and covers)
