Peanut Sauce recipe from Jane Brody
1/3 cup hot water
1/3 cup smooth peanut butter (all natural is better)
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp rice vinegar (I suppose regular vinegar would be OK)
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tsp sugar
opt: 1/4 tsp hot red pepper flakes (or more depending on taste)
Blend hot water and peanut butter. Then add everything else and mix well.
Jane serves this over noodles. It is good with chicken, broccoli, rice and even green beans.

she also adds scallions. but i never have those.
