Jessica - you can go to any computer store/service center that will scan like Kinko's, Office Max, etc. They can scan for you (I seem to remember the charge being less than $3). But it's important to tell t hem it MUST be @ 300dpi and in color.
ETA...of course, that's assuming you can't a friend into doing it for you
