I am a hands on crafter...used to be a Craft Editor years ago for a children's website...so I have it under my fingernails (glue, paint, glitter)...as it were.

I started out paper scrapping about 15 years ago. I used to rubber stamp my own cards.
...then the digi bug hit...and all my paper supplies are gathering dust...I could sit downstairs in my room for an entire day and piddle...but not like anything I was doing any more...but come upstairs and immediately like my digital layouts.
I was NOT going to get into hybrid...wasn't going to get into those projects. My justification was that I am so far behind in my 3 sons' books I don't have time. I don't need all those little projects sitting around.
Well...I bought the Beep Boop kit from Kristin and Lauren. My 14 year old ds saw the GEAR ALBUM that came with the kit as a new release. He decided it might be fun to do his own robotics album with the gear quick pages. So... I bought the Maya Gear album from the SSD shoppe...and then Hmmm how to adhere the pages? I am familiar with Xyron because of paper scrapping but my widest Xyron is only 5".
I went last night to Archiver's with my 30% off coupon and bought the new (pink) Bind-it-All thinking I would use it to do the calendars I make each Christmas. Still not hybrid as I see it...just printing my layouts & personalized calendar pages and binding at home rather than at Office Depot.
Well today...I go into Hobby Lobby with my 40% off coupon and there is the Bind-it-All instruction book! I check it out...oh I love the license plate frame book (I have personalized plates and oh how fun would that be?)... I love the desk calendar... I love the coupon book...uh oh...what happens next? ...
I walk out of Hobby lobby with the 9" wide Xyron machine (it happens to be on sale for 50% off) and with the Bind-it-All book!
Guess Lauren and Kristin hooked themselves a new hybrid girl!

Never thought it would happen to me.
