I didn't like them when I used a whole can of icing. Way too sweet. But I like them with half a can of frosting. We have a #2 disher, which is a small ice cream scoop, I think it is 2 teaspoons. DH uses it to portion out chocolate chip cookies and it is very hand for cake balls and any other cookie that has to be formed into a ball. Just scoop & squeeze, and only about $4 at WalMart. Melon ballers work well too but the are half the size & that is just too many balls to dip IMO

I freeze mine before dipping & use a wooden squewer, like for grilling kabobs, to do the dipping
