The same thing just happened to me (well, kinda). My daughter received a Baby Alive doll for her birthday on Friday from my parents that was shipped to us straight from Amazon. We opened it up only to find it doesn't work at all. If it makes you feel better, the replacement doll is supposed to arrive on Thursday and I submitted the order yesterday. I was kind of surprised at the quick response. But it is going to be a big pain to send the old one back.
