For me, saving money is worth the rigamaroll (sp?). And I can't emphasize enough that going in the mornings is going to get you the best Wal-Mart has to offer. Almost all the management team is there, all department managers are working on the week days but you won't find them after 12 noon, and the store is cleanest and stocked the best at that time.

P.S. I was told by one of my former co-workers (who still works there) that Wal-Mart headquarters just hired Target's CEO to reformat everything to make Wal-Mart become more like Target and now all the employees just hate how things are being run. Not that Target runs things badly, it's just the way all the micro-management is handling it, I guess. And don't get me wrong, I like Target, too. Wal-Mart's whole premise (when I was working there anyway) was about customer service. But we all know that doesn't happen as often as it should, that's for sure!
I'll just ditto this. I worked at Wal Mart for almost 6 years. My Wal Mart was "good" but I do know you can get some "bad" ones out there! I just went last night for my monthly shopping trip and yes it was crowded and yes the shelves were running low but I was by myself and that more then made up For it!!!

Normally the boys and I are there at 8:30AM sharp and we can zip through the store (well as fast as you can with a huge blue cart, two helpful toddlers, a waddling pregnant woman and $350 dollars worth of groceries. ) with no problem. The shelves are FULL and you can see a "upper" member of management every other isle.

Getting the most for my $$ is what is most important to me and it helps that I'm kind of loud and sqeaky and I don't put of with crap from anybody.....not even Wal Mart!!!
