OK, this is just weird. We had the same neighbors across the street until this past year. And I miss them very much. Over the year I started noticing that the new guy always honks his horn as he is driving away. Kind of annoying but I can live with that. But lately I've been noticing it more and more and it is people just randomly honking as they drive past.

Noone is outside in their yard. I don't know the people so they can't be honking at our house.
So today my kids are playing outside. I had the windows open and was keeping an eye on them. And I hear a honk. I go to the window to make sure someone hadn't run out into the street and all my kids are in the back yard. Turns out they were having a party and as almost every car pulled up, they honked, would park, and get out of the car.

I about lost my mind. Fortunately we weren't home when they all left. I would have gone nuts!
I'm sure there isn't much that I can do about it. "Tell your peeps to stop honking as they drive by or come over." Probably won't go over well.

And I normally don't notice unless I'm outside. It's just odd.
Is this something that people do? Have your neighbors ever done this?
