We buy our meat directly from a meat processing plant. If you live in the northeast, google poultry products northeast. there are a couple scattered around in different states. We bought meat at the end of march and we still haven't used it all. We're two adults and one kid at the moment. I get boneless skinless chicken for 1.39/lb., ground hamburger for 1.59/lb, etc. You just have to buy in bulk and package it up and freeze it. A little more work, but it has shaved about $40 off our weekly grocery bill, so well worth it. And it is so nice if I don't feel like making what I planned for the week as its not like I'd be taking meat away from another meal!
