Hmmm what an interesting idea. I like the idea of making this into layouts... and since I have a bunch of free books from artscow... I think I'm on to something here! I think a 2 page layout for each year would be a great idea for me.
And this is timely because my word for the year is Story - past and present memories of my family and doing what i love
2000 - Rang in the new year waiting for Y2K. turned 20. Moved to my 1st apartment living on my own. started working in HR. officially in relationship w/ (now) DH. My car was stolen. Got a new car. Moved to my 2nd apartment before the year was over.
2001 - turned 21. broke up with DH (then BF) went through the worst 3 months I've ever had and grew up quick LOL. Moved back in to my parents home. That lasted about 3 months. Moved out again and officially started living with my (now) DH after we got back together. My car got stolen. AGAIN! Got a 2nd job because living on our own was hard!
2002 - turned 22. Got pregnant. Quit my 2nd job. Went to Mexico in October for my sister's Quinceanera.
2003 - turned 23. Gave birth to Bryan via emergency C-section. I graduated from community college and got my associates degree. We bought our first home
2004 - turned 24. I stopped working full time at my HR job and found a new job (still in HR). Stayed part time w/ the first job and started working in the restaurant there serving. We bought a new car. Baptized our son, Got Pregnant again. Went to Washington DC with DH and my sister. a 2nd time with my BFF
2005 - turned 25. DH and I drove to Reno and got married. Gave birth to my 2nd son Jordan. Went to Mexico in June with a 2 yo and a 2 mo old son. Baptized Jordan. Went back to school
2006 - turned 26 - Started digital scrapbooking. Went to Mexico in December for christmas and new years. Quit school again.
2007 - Turned 27. Bryan started preschool. I quit my 2nd job after almost 10 years of being there (it was my first job!) stopped working weekends! DH turned 30.
2008 - Turned 28. Bryan started Kingergarten. I got pregnant again. Had Diego in November. Bryan started playing soccer.
2009 - Turned 29. Bryan started first grade. Jordan started preschool. Spent quite some time on maternity leave and working part time hours. Enjoyed being a part time SAHM
Went back to work full time -- but still with a flex schedule. DH and I started working opposite shifts again. Took a 3 month class in hopes of getting back into school. Baptized Diego.
