That probably plays a factor - I think it probably more has to do with the age of the actors. In general 6 years shows a lot more between say 35 to 40 than 25 to 30. Matthew Fox was 37ish when the show started and now he's almost 44. That's just a big aging period for people. (Sadly that 2nd half of the 30's wears on ya LOL - I speak somewhat from personal experience....
