That's when you visit and grab all the pie-pumpkins you can and make your own puree
It's what I'm doing. I still have cans left over from last year when my MIL bought me a case, and I'm thankful to have it, but want to build up my freezer stash of fresh puree as well this year. It's pretty easy to do.
