Well first of all I got to go see one of my very favorite singers Rodney Atkins FOR FREE
Nothing better then that. The Carl Black Chevy dealership down here has these events and its all free but they are not all the time. Every couple of months or so. The Hooters Girls were there and had Hooters Wings which were also free for everyone. They had hotdogs with all the fixings and free drinks (only sodas/water...no beer). It was not super crowded either. The local radio station was there and giving away prizes but I didnt get around to spinning the wheel and Rodney Atkins was signing autographs after the show. I did not stay because it was getting to hot and my husband did not bring his medication so he was starting to get uncomfortable and I could feel I was getting sunburnt. It was still pretty awesome
. I was kinda ticked because Trace Adkins was there signing autographs last month but I missed him
I have not been out of the house in a really long time for anything but doctors and running errands so this was a welcomed change.
Next month on the 4th & 5th we have some more free concerts. We get to see Jamey Johnson and the Kentucky Headhunters on November 4th and Deanna Carter, Clint Black & Justin Moore on November 5th. Not sure how much we will stay to see but they are later in the day and there is other stuff to do cause it is a festival type event so it ought to be fun.
