My husband grew up in Plaquemine and my IL's live in Brusly which is near Plaquemine. My IL's decided not to move back to Plaquemine a few years ago when they moved back to the area because of the schools which is why they decided on Brusly but my BIL was in highschool at the time so I don't know about the elementary schools.
