I can only answer for myself but I've had my Kindle since Christmas and I had the app for it on my computer for 6 month before that and I have 265 books on my Kindle right now and 72 books in my archived Items. I've also deleted off maybe 10-15 books too (only the books you get from Amazon are archived...other sites books have to be deleted off the kindle....but I keep them in a folder on my computer....if you want them out of your "active" collections) and I have spent a grand total of
$4.97.
