I think that is so true. Sometimes I think trying to get on a CT makes us feel like we are in high school all over again and trying to hang out with the cool kids (or maybe that is just me... LOL). Not being selected is always tough, no matter what the arena. But I think it is definitely important to find a way to document your memories in your own way and have fun doing it so you can be true to yourself. Otherwise, 20 years from now, you may look back on your LOs and feel like they are totally foreign to you or your family. Just my $.02.
And keep trying. Don't forget that everyone has had to deal with rejection at some point whether it was in the digi world or elsewhere. I read an article today about a woman who wrote a book and was rejected by 26 publishers. She self-published, went and sold them out of her trunk, and now has been picked up by a publisher.
