The mom said that she was searching for chlorophyll for something with the dog? And that it led her to chloroform. Which sounds... ridiculous to me. It doesn't even sound plausible. But whatever.
And yes, she couldn't keep her story straight. The whole thing seemed like one big coverup. I think conspiracy would be an excellent charge.
