No, we ration it instead. They get to eat 5-6 pieces that night & then a piece a day after that. They tend to lose interest in it well before Thanksgiving & I pitch what is left. They don't candy much the rest of the year so I don't have any problem letting them have it at Halloween. Also they only go to one smallish trunk or treat thing or a Halloween party so they do't end up with that much to begin with
