Great post! I went from doing Project 365 religiously and scrapping fun layout on the side in 2010- to being SWAMPED this year and only scrapping a total of maybe 10 layouts, calendars, and cards for gifts. I miss being around here too. And it makes me VERY sad not to have a new photo book for this year. My scrapping goals for 2012:

-- I'm going to be realistic about my time and skills. I'm a full time working mom with two little ones and a husband who wouldn't like me being on the computer during all my "free" hours (or minutes I should say). I am inspired by many artists here, but I also need to be ok with the fact that, quite frankly, they're better scrappers than I am. It's better to scrap my best, than NOT scrap because it's not as good as what I wish I could do. Again, my family thinks mine are great (and they don't get to see all the amazing work I see to compare to!)

-- I want to take more photos and not get hung up on processing them. I'm not a great photographer, have a point and shoot camera and don't know all the tricks for nice editing either. I'm going to just focus on taking them and scrapping them after running just a couple actions. My family won't care about the editing anyway as long as it "looks good"....

-- I want to go back and make my kids' baby albums. I started digiscrap when the kids were just a bit younger and all I have are their little "traditional" baby books where I recorded the little milestones.

-- I will try to do monthly review pages this year. I LOVED my project 365 books but also realize I don't need a daily pic unless I'm going through changes in my life, you know? I imagine my 2012 life will look a lot like my 2011 life. BUT, it did keep me taking pictures knowing I "needed" one every day, so hopefully that will hold true for weekly pages.

-- I will try to scrap pretty and "fun" pages too and not feel bad about using my massive template stash to do so. Sometimes I feel like without Lynnette and Cindy's templates, I may have no pages at all. But then again, that's why I bought them right? In 10 years when my kids' look through, I'm sure they won't be thinking "This gorgeous page? It';s not mom's idea. Lynnette or Cindy made it first"

And finally...
-- I want to organize my horribly messy digi-stash and use the stuff I already have (TONS of it!) This is something I want to do, but knowing how tedious it is amkes me cringe. Seriously considering purging lots of old folders without even looking (except my SSD stuff of course- that's all goodies!)

I think I'm going to make a note of this on facebook or somewhere I'll remember it. Nice way to get focused!
