Yep, I'm another one whose hubby usually has to work the holidays. He worked Thanksgiving and now will work Christmas Eve. At least he has Christmas Day off. He is a respiratory therapist -- somebody has to help take care of the sick people on the holidays too! Kind of bummed, but we are used to it. He works pretty much every other holiday. And growing up, my Mom was the same way -- she is an RN and always worked at least every other holiday too.
