oh I also can comment on the windiness that Natalie mentioned. The wind is most common on the east side, as the Columbia River Gorge funnels the wind from eastern Oregon down though the gorge and hits the east side of Multnomah County. I live on the east most side of Multnomah County and the wind doesn't bug me at all. Just be careful in parking lots, because when you open your car door it might get ripped out of your hand and hit the car next to you!
