2. Do you like to draw illustrations?
I love to draw, digitally in illustrator - but I'm not very awesome with a paper and pen
3. What's one word to describe your design style?
You tell me
I guess I would say I aim to make things that are a little bit funky and a whole lot of fun - I also love to make kits that the theme is more of an "idea" (you can do it, be happy, be bold etc.) rather than an event (easter, haircuts, baths etc.)
4. What's your favorite color?
For my real life accessories: Pink! For designing I pretty much always use a green, or teal.
5. What is your naaaaame???
I'll give you a hint, my initials are S.C.
6. What color do you have a hard time using?
Muted pastels, for sure, they pain me a bit.
7. Do you have a certain embellishment that you love making? One that you avoid?
I feel very strongly that I need a scallop in every kit right now. I also really do love putting some hand drawn funkiness in there if I can make it fit.
8. What's your favorite pattern?
I have a hard time resisting putting some sort of a hand drawn damask-ish-y paper in every kit. Also every kit needs some sort of a stripe, when ever there isn't one in there I miss it. Oh, and clouds are always calling my name lately...
9. What's your niche? Kits, embellishments, patterned papers, alphas, templates...?
Well, I do love me an awesome and versatile alphabet - I also really like doing something doodle-y-ish.
10. Would people consider your designs cutesy, romantic, colorful, trendy, kitschy, or____ (fill in the blank)
well, you are a "people" so you can fill in the blank here LOL - but I do love colors and fun.
11. What's your favorite season to design kits for?
Seasonal kits are really hard for me, but I guess I would have to go with the flow and say fall, but spring kits tend to have a nice energy to them too. I find winter/snow kits difficult to make though.
12. What's your hottest design skill (i.e. you make a mean chrome or acrylic effect)
Being super awesome - definitely...
13. Have you ever designed a kit with a frog in it?
Gosh, I don't know that I have...
Oh, wait, I made one for the princess kit - so, yes.
